The Kingdom of God is designed to allow for different churches to exist, enabling different types of people to thrive in various cultures. These ten phrases describe the soil in which we believe God will cause people to grow in COUNTERCULTURE. We do not want these to be mere programs or classes that we run, but convictions and principles ingrained in who we are; values that will be prioritized and practiced in the life of our church community.
Paul and Janine’s journey has been marked by a growing heart cry for revival, captured in their wedding tagline: “Revival with you.” Having served together in various capacities wherever their leaders needed them at Favor Church, they have faithfully embraced every season of ministry. Their most recent season was serving as Executive Pastors for Generations.
During the pandemic, God placed a vision in Paul’s heart to pioneer COUNTER CULTURE, a next-generation conference they were entrusted and empowered to lead for the past 5 years. At the time, they had no idea that this conference and the lives and teams they would see grow through it would become the seed for a new church. Through their own journey of brokenness, they have experienced the healing, freedom, and transformation that comes through the power of the Holy Spirit, and they have witnessed God bring the same restoration to the lives of many others.
Now, they are pioneering COUNTER CULTURE, a church for the hungry & the curious. Paul and Janine are passionate about the preaching of the Word, Spirit-led worship, ministering healing and freedom, and doing life and ministry together with joy.
We exist to bring people into an encounter with the living God and to see lives transformed by Jesus Christ in an experiential way.
We are responding to a call to partner with the Holy Spirit in pioneering a church for all ages in Quezon City (around the North Ave. area) with a desire to impact Metro Manila where a community pursues encountering God in an experiential way, leading to true heart transformation.
We are devoted to seeing an army of disciples, leaders, pastors, and ministers rise up to see the power of God change the culture around us through Bible-based, expository, and revelatory teaching and preaching, and spirit-empowered prayer and worship.
In the years to come, we will develop teams, services, events, programs, conferences, and eventually schools where encountering the Holy Spirit leads to the equipping and empowering of His people to live out the message of Jesus.
To prepare for our 2027 launch, we are forming a launch crew of leaders and team members. We will invite you to join our regular internal meetings, which will focus on equipping, prayer, and culture-building.
